First Snow Of The Year – October 24, 2022

I was at work, of course, so I took the picture from the front of the building.  That’s the new fire station in the background.

It melted as soon as it hit the parking lot asphalt, but it was pretty while it lasted.  Big fat flakes.

It’s early this year.  Word on the mountain says it means for a harsh winter.  We’ll see.  For now, we have wood cut and stacked, and our propane tank topped off.  I guess it’s time to put away my summer clothes and bring out my winter clothes.
