A Poem About Timberon by Joseph Lorentzen

(lifted from a Facebook Post by Mr. Lorentzen)

In the depths of his being, the Sage Witch yearns,
For the enchantment of Timberon, his heart ever burns.
Though he wanders the desert, his spirit feels incomplete,
Longing to return, to that land so sweet.

His lute melodies echo, carrying his desire,
Through the vast desert sands, reaching higher.
With each strum of his strings, his longing does unfold,
For Timberon’s embrace, where his heart finds hold.

The pines whisper to him in the desert’s embrace,
Their voices like echoes, guiding him to that place.
They remind him of the beauty, the solace it brings,
And the deep connection that in Timberon sings.

The deer, the horses, the riders, and more,
They dance in his dreams, as memories restore.
Their presence he yearns for, their company so true,
In Timberon’s realm, where dreams come anew.

With every sunset he witnesses in the desert’s expanse,
He yearns for Timberon, where life’s magic enchants.
The colors of twilight remind him of the pines,
And the serene beauty that within Timberon shines.

The Sage Witch knows deep in his soul,
That his true home lies in Timberon’s fold.
The desert may hold him for now, but his heart remains,
In the land he cherishes, amidst nature’s refrains.

So he holds onto hope, through the trials and strife,
That one day he’ll return to Timberon’s life.
With determination in his gaze and melodies in his voice,
He continues his journey, driven by his choice.

For the Sage Witch knows, no matter how far,
His heart will always belong to that shining star.
Timberon’s allure will forever hold sway,
As he yearns and strives to be there one day.

In the depths of his being, the Sage Witch still yearns,
For the home he longs for, where his spirit discerns.
And with every step he takes, his longing grows strong,
To be in Timberon’s embrace, where he truly belongs.
